Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to control all shipping and receiving activities of the Charleston warehouse. This position will ensure all shipping and receiving processes are followed. The shipping and receiving clerk will direct all warehouse forklift operators while taking into account moving priorities. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is to conduct all company related business in a professional, safe, and efficient manner, in full compliance with ICL ESH&S policies.

Required Skills

  • Direct day-to-day activities of all warehouse product movement

  • Serve as the main contact for all incoming and outbound loads

  • Have loads staged and double checked for accuracy before loading

  • Assist in development of dunnage improvement and ensure implemented at all times

  • Ensure products are QC released before shipping

  • Assist in inventory and cycle count processes

  • Maintain applicable DOT training

  • ERP input for incoming materials, shipments, DO’s, and receipts

  • Communicate in a timely manner with customer service and sales teams

  • Enter loads into TMS in a timely manner

  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years manufacturing environment or warehouse operations experience

  • Ability to operate a fork truck

  • ERP Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
